My story
Galena is looking for a special home to call her own. She came to us as a semi feral teen mom with five tiny kittens. Now that she has raised her babies, she has been learning the joys of being indoors and having all the food and love she needs. She is a very sweet and loving girl once she gets to know someone. She loves to play with other cats and relies on them for comfort so she would need to be in a home with another cat friend. She would do best in a home that is calm and quiet and preferably without any dogs because they tend to scare her. She will need a home that understands she will need a lot of time to adjust and one that will have the patience and gentleness to let her grow and learn to trust on her own time. She loves getting chin and neck scratches and will purr and rub up against her person to show her affection. She has a blast and turns into a kitten when playing with a variety of toys however, she is not yet a cat that wants to be held or lay on your lap. She just needs to find the right home to be cherished and loved. **All Compassion in Action dogs and cats must be adopted by families willing to have their pets be a part of their family and must be allowed insideespecially at night.
